Deborah “Debbie” T. Chaisson, age 66, passed away at University Medical Center located in New Orleans on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 1:05 PM. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Carl J. Chaisson. She is survived by her daughter Melissa I. Carnesi, sons Dustin E. Carnesi, his fiancée Mindy Victoriana and Carl J. Chaisson, Jr., his fiancée Rachel Kleindorf, and grandchildren Hayden Hartmann, Ryan Haven, Max Chaisson, Riley Kleindorf, and Carly Chaisson. Daughter of the late Earl William Timberlake and Edith Schroeder. Adored sister of Dorothy Timberlake and Betty Marchand. Beloved aunt of Karen Hyorth, Carol Parker, and the late Danielle Wise and Johnny Parker as well as a host of other nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Chaisson was a native of New Orleans, LA, and a resident of Chalmette, LA. Her passion for billiards led her to play in various leagues around St. Bernard Parish. Mrs. Chaisson was a State Certified Tax Professional and small business owner. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Faith Joubert and staff, Dr. Juzar Ali and staff and the entire nursing and support staff of University Medical Center for the excellent care given to Mrs. Chaisson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St. at N. Scott St., on Friday, April 1, 2022. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM followed by a service in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery.
