Doris Blanchard Mese passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at the age of 94. She was welcomed into the Gates of Heaven by her beloved husband Benny R. Mese, parents Laura and Sidney Blanchard, her brother Willard Blanchard and grandson Benny J. Mese Jr. Doris is survived by three daughters, Linda M. Young (Raymond Sr.), Lynne M. Franklin and Sandra A. Mese; three sons, Benny J. Mese (Suzanne), Michael Mese and Kenneth Mese. She is survived by her sister Libby B. Van Oss (Pete) and her brother Albert Blanchard (Willyne). Grandchildren; Wendy M. Roussell (Dave), Michael Mese Jr., Tonya G. Rogillio (Jesse), Raymond Young Jr. (Amanda), Krissy M. Carrigan (Sean Jr.), Jamie Guillory, Bridget Young, in-law Alicia Mese; great grandchildren, Skylend, Camber and Zachary Roussell; Erica Mese; Sean III, Christopher, Khloe and Caleb Carrigan; Emma Dunnegan and Jake Rogillio; Roland, Jaster and Garrett Young; great great grandchild to be March 2018. Also survived by her nieces and nephews. She was loved and adored by all her family and friends. She will be sorely missed by all. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 12:15 PM in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel of JACOB SCHOEN & SON, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA.
