Cyrille Dearie Larsen passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on March 23, after a lengthy illness. A native of New Orleans and long-time resident of Metairie, she was 81. She is survived by her children Loretta Larsen Conques (Steven), Lisa Larsen Trigo (Bruce) Greg Larsen (Mary), and daughter-in-law Maureen Franklin Larsen; grandchildren Jessica Larsen Barber (Brad), Daniel Larsen (Kay), Brett Topey (Devon Anderson), Amanda Trigo Kaiser (Blake), Andrew Trigo (Carly), Brannon Topey (Jon Cooper), Lauren Trigo (Adany Paulino),Rachel Conques (Matthew Holland) and Samantha Larsen; and great grandchildren Barrett Kaiser, Brooke Cooper, Adalina Kaiser, Cason Barber, Thomas Larsen, Dominick Lonergan, Greyson Barber, Georgia Trigo, Brayden Kaiser and Jackson Cooper. She is also survived by her sister Donna Dearie Greco (Tony) and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Anthony Larsen, Sr., her son Melvin Anthony Larsen, Jr., her parents Harold E. Dearie and Marie Pascaline Dearie, and her brother Harold E. Dearie II. She attended the University of New Orleans and was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School (class of 1954). She was a realtor for many years with Gardner Realtors, and was a bookkeeper for two Catholic Churches and schools in the Archdiocese of New Orleans. The family would like to thank the staff of Notre Dame Hospice, the care partners at Ashton Manor, Brenda Washington, and Zipporah Smith, for their love and support in the final years of Cyrille's life. Visitation will be held beginning at 9 a.m., Monday, March 26 at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church (4921 W. Metairie Ave., Metairie LA), followed by a funeral mass at noon. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Mausoleum (4800 Airline Dr., Metairie LA).
