Tribute

Cynthia Kropog Sciortino passed away in her home on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Ellen and Charles Kropog. She is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, George Sciortino, her cherished son, Benjamin (Diana) Noveck and her adored grandson, Samuel Noveck. Cynthia was the big sister to Charles (Sonya) Kropog, Stephanie (Richard) Livingston, Mary Kropog, and Olin (Susan) Kropog. She was the aunt of Stephen and Kathryn Kropog, Christopher Livingston, and Troy and Trent Kropog. Cynthia was a lifetime resident of New Orleans, LA where she attended St. Stephen Catholic School, Archbishop Chapelle High School and University of New Orleans, and later became a successful, multiple award-winning realtor. She loved being a New Orleanian and was a long-time member and float captain of the Krewe of Muses. Cynthia was ambitious, hard-working, brilliant, beautiful, and talented. She was an avid gardener, nature-lover, world traveler and master chef. But it is Cynthia’s generous spirit and love that will be missed the most. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, February 20, 2021, 10am visitation and 11am service at St. Stephen Church, 1025 Napoleon Avenue in New Orleans.
