I worked alongside Connie on some real estate photography jobs since September of last year. I just received the news last night and I can't believe that she's been taken from the world. She was such a joy to be around and had a fire about her that you rarely see in people. In the short time I knew her, I developed such a fondness of her and I'm so incredibly saddened that she's gone. I remember her calling me to make a slideshow of images from the Mile's New Years Eve 2016 celebration. She was so happy to make this for her family to see and raved about what a perfect night it was. It sounds like she lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every moment and I hope to take that away from our time together. My deepest condolences for her family and friends! <3

Connie and I were just beginning our friendship. She was taken from me, and her family and long term friends, way too soon. But the message she gave me just hours before she left us will be in my heart forever: Life is short. Make your dreams come true while you can.Rest in peace, my friend.

Connie graciously hosted our family at Casa Conchita, helped me find our wonderful house, and was always prepared to have fun, stay in touch, suggest something worthwhile to do, see or hear. I am deeply indebted to her for nurturing my love of New Orleans and changing my life in the process. She will be sorely missed. Lew: we loved her, too! And our hearts go out to you.

Miss Connie was such a lady! A celebrator of life, a warm spirit and a joy with which to visit. She welcomed me, a stranger, and helped me to feel comfortable and accepted. My prayers that she receives the same, warm welcome in the great beyond. My added prayers for Lew's strength and resolve in this time of pain and healing.

Our Hearts are heavy and our Spirits saddened by the loss of our dear friend, Connie. She lit up the room like the sun, even on the rainiest of days. Her love of life, and her love of OTHERS' lives made her a genuine joy to be around. She undoubtedly entered the Pearly Gates leading a second-line, complete with the most boisterous "Who Dat" chant in all creation. I kno the wine was poured to her liking, and she was all smiles....Just like we were whenever she was around. The Marigny Queen is gone, but her parade will roll forever;. May she never run out of throws.

Miss You, Connie. You & Lew are in our prayers.
