Congetta Prescia DiBuono

Congetta Prescia DiBuono passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Johnnie DiBuono. Mother of Rose DiBuono Mendez (Sonny) and Johnny DiBuono (Kathleen). Maw Maw of Gina Mendez (Alan) and Patrick Mendez (Jill), Bryan (Tara) and Jeffrey (Rebecca) Dibuono and Jennifer DiBuono Sparacio (Sal). Great-grandmother of T.J. Manly (Gabrielle), Taylor Rose Eschette (Nicholas), Olivia and Ryan Mendez. Great-grandmother (Ana) to Nicholas, Nathan, Noah, Matthew, and Madison DiBuono, Jacob and Claire Sparacio. Great-great-grandmother to Hayden Manly. Sister of Josephine (Phine) DiFulco. Preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Mary Palermo Prescia, and stepmother, Jenny Messina Prescia, as well as two siblings, Elizabeth Trombatore and Joseph Prescia. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends from J.C. Penny's and Majoria Drugs. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:15 PM on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel of Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., New Orleans, Louisiana. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow the mass at Greenwood Cemetery.
