Carmen Milano Teresi of Old Jefferson, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 at home in the presence of her loving family. Carmen was born in New Orleans, LA on October 20, 1938. She was 82. She was the daughter of Leon P. Milano and Vivian Milano, who both preceded her in death. She was a graduate of St. Matthias Class of 1956. After graduation, she married Cosmo J. Teresi, Jr., who also preceded her in death on August 26, 2006. Carmen was a loving mother to Vicki T. Cordes (Gene), Cosmo J. Teresi, lll (Wendy) and Matthew P. Teresi (Brandie). She was the grandmother of: Jennifer Cordes Marrone (Ray), Warren E Cordes, ll “Wren” (Bridget), Courtney Cordes; Isabella, Sofia, Megan and Morgan Teresi. Great-Grandmother of: Cole, Madden, Vayda, Brinley and the late Mia Marrone. Aubrey and Stella Cordes and Avery Teresi. 
Carmen is the sister of the late JoAnn Scheuermann (Wayne), Leon Milano, Jr., the late Joseph Milano (Barbara) and Steven Milano (Rosa). She was a lifelong resident of Old Jefferson and was an active parishioner of St. Agnes Parish for over 60 years. Carmen loved her family fiercely. She enjoyed always being surrounded by family. From Saints games, seafood boils, parades, Sunday dinners and holidays she loved to celebrate and live life to the fullest. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Mass at 11:30 AM on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at St. Agnes Church, 3310 Jefferson Hwy, Jefferson, LA 70121. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM. Interment will be in St. Louis #3 Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Arthritis Foundation.
