Brenda C. Gioiello

Brenda Conner Gioiello born January 31, 1940 passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on March 2, 2018 after a courageous struggle with cancer.
Beloved wife of 60 years to Joseph Gabriel Gioiello. Brenda was preceded in death by her father Louis Lucian Conner, mother Cecilia Martinez Conner and sister Elizabeth Conner Flannagan. She is survived by sisters Dianne Conner Weatherly and Arlene Conner Wischan (Harold). Brenda is also survived by and will be dearly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews along with cousin Gary Morris (Joy) and numerous close friends and neighbors.

Brenda was born and raised in New Orleans and spent her early married life in Metairie. She and Joe resided in Slidell these last 18 years.
Brenda worked for and retired from The Whitney Bank where she established a respected career lasting 40 years. Those that knew her loved her dearly. Her compassion for those she cared for was profound and her vibrant personality left an indelible mark on anyone she met.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Benilde Catholic Church, 1901 Division Street, Metairie, Louisiana on Monday, March 12 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until Mass time.
