Betty Ann Hamilton passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 11, 2021 at the age of 85. She was born on January 6, 1936 in New Orleans to the late Clarence and Marcella Loup. She was predeceased by her first husband, Louis Rubio, as well as her second husband, Milton Kenneth Hamilton. She is survived by her brother, Tyrone Loup "Brother" (the late Sandra). Betty Ann was the mother of Roxanne Lantz (Dan), the late Rhonda Hamilton, and Keleigh Hamilton Howell (Christopher). She was the step-mother of Paula Hamilton Corbett (Albert) and the late Gwen Hamilton. Betty Ann was loved dearly by her grandchildren, Leo (Shelley), Ryan, Cory (Hannah), Dan (Jordan), Erin (Ray), Skylar (Steve), Matthew, William and Jackson and by her great-grandchildren, AJ, Claire, Sawyer and Andie Kate. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Betty Ann was loving and caring and possessed a clever quick wit. She was a great cook and rolled fives and nines at the craps table. She will be missed. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119 on Saturday, July 17, 2021 with a visitation starting at 11:30 AM and a service at 1:30 PM with a burial following in Metairie Cemetery.
