Benjamin Alan Balser Jr, 23, beloved son and brother, died Sunday October 15, 2017. Benjamin was born in Bedford, TX, grew up in New Orleans, LA and Acworth, GA. He was a student at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and a member of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity. Growing up, he loved playing baseball and was on his high school and travel baseball teams.  He enjoyed fishing and video games. He was so loved by all his family and friends. He is survived his father Benjie, his mother Tammy and Step-father Tommy, his sister Brittney, his brother Cameron, grandparents Kathy and Roger Balser and Betty and Francis Delaune, as well as numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 21 from 10:30 until 1P.M. at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home. A rosary will follow at 1:00 P.M. and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel 3827 Canal St in New Orleans.
