Ava Cobb Nash

Ava C. Nash, 66, departed this earthly life on February 15, 2021. Ava was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all.  She was a caregiver for over 25 years. Ava is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd C. Nash, Sr., her daughter Kimberly M. Nash, her parents Cleveland Sr. and Dorothy Cobb and her siblings Cleveland Jr., Wanda Ann Lucas and Lisa Mae Cobb.  She leaves to cherish her memories to her best friend and loving daughter Tara Nash-Howard (Jerome), her two devoted sons Lloyd Jr. (Tammy) and Andrew (Angela) Nash. Two sisters Rosemary Donerson and Regina Cobb of California, two brothers Ellis Sr. and Barry Cobb. 18 Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  A funeral service will be held and live streamed at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119 on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 11 AM.  Pastor Mark E. Sandifer Officiant. Visitation will begin at 9:15 AM. Due to Covid-19, the Celebration of Life will be for family only as seating in the chapel is limited and everyone in attendance will be required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing, strictly enforced at the family's request.  Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park.
