Arthur Calvin Dennis

Arthur Calvin Dennis departed this life on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at the age of 53. He was a 1986 graduate of St Augustine. He was a 2018 graduate of Elaine P. Nunez Community College. Arthur worked at the New Orleans Hilton for 20+ years before retiring and moving on to Ochsner Medical Center Environmental Services Department.

Arthur was the cherished son of Walter and Rosemary Dennis. He was the loving brother of Walter Jr. (Mary), Angela, Fredrick and Natasha Dennis. He was the proud and loving uncle to Devin Dennis, Juan Baptiste and Walter M. Dennis. He was also the loving godfather to Alaric Dexter Taylor Jones. He was also loved by his great nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and cherished friends. Arthur was preceded in death by his father, Walter Dennis Sr. and both maternal and paternal grandparents. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration of our beloved Arthur on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Face coverings are required to attend.
