I was sadly out of the country when this news was posted. Alaina and I virtually took every CJUS class together at USL, and as fellow New Orleans Catholic Schoolmates, and fellow, we became good friends. It with the heaviest of hearts that I belated have to say goodbye! Cheers mate! The world is a lesser place without you! Bisous!

It's Rader your old neighbor at 112 Doubloon Drive in Lafayette, La. I'm so sorry to see see this about Alaina. I actually tried to reach out to her on Facebook a couple of times in the past few years but could never get a response. She was probably too young to remember me. I did this to try and get in touch with you all to see how you were doing. I think of you all often and still have all the pictures from the younger years. Again, I'm so sorry to hear about Alaina and i'm praying for you. I did leave my email address if you would like to reach out to me. God Bless

RIP my beautiful friend / sister-in-law. I am forver grateful to you for bringing Eric and the kids into my life. Thank you for the happiness and love that I have in my life now all because of you. It is with great sorrow that I feel for Alaina's family. Though I only meet her twice I feel like I have know her a long time as her Dad shared many stories with unbelievable pride. No one should have to lose a child, but for whatever reason the good Lord needs her more than us, I am sure he has something special in mind. Please accept my heart filled condolences, and prayers. And Gary please know you are very loved and we all share your grief.
