Alaina Theresa Bourgeois, age 35, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2017. Alaina was born on March 22, 1982 in New Orleans, Louisiana to her loving parents Gary Bourgeois and Catherine Kelly Bourgeois. She was a graduate of Archbishop Blenk High School in Gretna, Louisiana and went on to gain a Criminal Justice Degree from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She had a successful career as a Paralegal with Mouledoux, Bland, LeGrand, and Brackett Law Firm for the past 9 years. In addition to being survived by her parents, she is also survived by family members Michael Bourgeois, Eric Bourgeois, Shanna Phillips, Evan Phillips, Jacob Bourgeois, Jordyn Bourgeois, Andrew Richard, Matthew Richard and friends Leslie Pierce and Alise Lavergne along with many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Her Funeral Service will be held this Monday, September 25 at Jacob Schoen & Son, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, Louisiana. Visitation for family is for 9am with friends to follow at 10am. A brief Service will be held in the Chapel for 11am. Interment to follow at Saint Patrick Cemetery #1, 5000 Canal Street, New Orleans, Louisiana.
