Suzanne “Suzie” Landry passed away peacefully on September 16, 2017 at the age of 87. Wife of the late George R. Wiegand by first marriage and Sam K. Landry by second marriage. Devoted mother of George P. Wiegand. Sister of Elizabeth P. Baldauf, Jeanne P. Harsh, James G. Prator and the late Robert A. Prator, T. Mangum “Bubba” Prator, Jr., and Anne D. Carlquist. Daughter of the late T. Mangum Prator and Lillian Gross Prator. She was loved by numerous nieces, nephews and her special friends from Mandeville. Suzie was an active parishioner of Our Lady of The Lake in Mandeville and an agent with Gertrude Gardner. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel of JACOB SCHOEN & SONS, 3827 Canal Street, on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 12:15 PM. Friends may visit after 10:45 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers please send donations to St. Michaels Special School.
