Susan Mary Roth (Sr. Mary Damian, O.S.B.) passed away on January 18, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her parents Alma del Corral and Herbert Roth; her brothers Richard, Kenneth, Robert and Bro. Kevin Miles, F.S.C.. Susan is survived by three sisters: Carol Kratzberg, Jill Spuehler, Sally Roth and two brothers: Robin and Kirk Roth. She entered the convent in 1955 and taught in the Catholic School System of Greater New Orleans. She received her Counseling Degree from Tulane University and was the counselor for the religious for the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass on January 31, 2018 at 11:00 am in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel of JACOB SCHOEN & SON, 3827 Canal Street. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am and continue until Mass time. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery at a later date.
