Randy Fellman, 72, of New Orleans, LA, passed away on his late wife’s birthday, December 30, 2017. Dr. Fellman was, at various times, the lone doctor in a small mountain town, a novelist, an outdoorsman, a hospital administrator, and a lieutenant colonel in the United States Air Force. He was at all times a poet, a lover of all thing sport, a musician, a steward of the church, a friend to the animals, and the life of the party. Dr. Fellman is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Fellman and Lucille Hansen, brothers Ron and Rick Fellman, and his beloved wife, Kerry. He is survived by his stepfather, Ray Devens of Mesa, AZ; children, Amy (Chris) Kvam of Bemidji, MN, Sarah (John) Stanko of Shakopee, MN, Erin (Jeff) Brooks of Bemidji, MN, Zachery Fellman of Gulfport, MS, and Claire (Joseph Mitchell) Fellman of Worcester, MA; brother Jeff Fellman of Mesa, AZ; grandchildren Lauryn, Vanessa, Julia, Taite, Quinn, Kaia, Easten, and Norah. Funeral services are on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church in New Orleans, LA. Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church of New Orleans, the YMCA of Greater New Orleans, or Rolling River Ranch and Rescue.
