Kendall Andrew Gallman

Kendall Gallman, a Physician Assistant in the department of hospital medicine at Ochsner Baptist Hospital died at his home Monday September 11.  He was 54.  Mr. Gallman served as preceptor for Physician Assistant trainees during their clinical rotation at Ochsner and was an active member of the Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants. Kendall received his Bachelor of Science degree, with distinction, from the University of Oklahoma in 1990, where he was named outstanding senior in the Physician Assistant program, College of Medicine. He began his practice in emergency medicine in Daytona Beach, Florida; later moving to Atlanta, Georgia where he continued to practice emergency medicine and inpatient care.  After returning to Florida for a time practicing as a hospitalist, he came to new Orleans in 2013 to continue his specialty in hospital medicine.  From 1998 to 2006, he served his country as a Major in the U. S.  Army Reserve. Kendall is survived by his mother, Michele, of New Orleans; a brother, Steve,  of Dewey, OK and a host of loving friends all over the country who will sorely miss his gifts of humor and compassion.  Memorial services will be held at Rayne Memorial Methodist Church 3900 St. Charles Ave. October 7, 2017 at 11:00 A.M.
