I was truly blessed to serve with John at the St. Bernard Seventh-Day Adventist Church. His preaching and love for God was truly genuine. I called him my friend and was blessed by God to have known him, I will miss you John.

I only knew John from doing our taxes with Rogers, but he was the sweetest gentlest man I have ever known-always positive, enthusiastic as regards our communication-I will miss him greatly.

John was a most competent, most valued employee of our firm for over forty years. But more importantly John was a good man. I think that St. Ignatius of Loyola's prayer for generosity speaks to John's character: " Lord Jesus, teach me to be generous; teach me to serve you as you deserve, to give and not to count the cost,
to fight and not to heed the wounds, to toil and not to seek for rest, to labor and not to seek reward, except that of knowing that I do your will." I will miss John not only as a valued employee, but also as a friend who knew, loved , and served the Lord and his fellow man. Rest in peace, dear John. CMR

John was truly one of the kindest and gentle man that we have ever had the privilege to know. Condolences to his family for their great loss!

We are praying for John and his family. I knew him for over half a century and he was always smiling and a very good person. He recently told me that if God wanted him that he would happily go and he said that while smiling too.
