Connie Lynn Rouquette Alejandro went to her “forever home” December 19, 2017 at the age of 55. She is survived by her husband, Jose’ Angel Alejandro, the love of her life. She is also survived by her step-daughter Natalia Alejandro(Jose’ Perez), father Frederick James Rouquette, sister Kelly Lynn Thibodeau, half-sister Rebecca Rouquette, aunt Dolores Fernandez, nieces Jennifer Lynn Rouquette (Brandon Shaw) and Katie Lynn Thibodeau, nephew Anthony James Rouquette, great-niece Abagail Lynne Bowles, great-nephew Tucker Allen Shaw, step siblings Donna, Rhonda, Billy and Walter Knowles. Preceded in death by her mother Lynn Adeline Fernandez, step-father Walter “Buddy” Knowles, maternal grandparents Mercedes Bech and Albert Fernandez, paternal grandparents Loretta Christina and Malcolm Rouquette. She is survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and other family members. Connie was a veteran of the U. S. Army, an avid camper, a devoted and attentive friend and animal lover, especially to her dog Joze Beaux. She was an employee of W. B. Riley and Baumer Foods. Thanks for the loving care given her by Heart of Hospice and Marrero Healthcare Center and Tulane Cancer Center.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Jacob Schoen & Son, 3827 Canal Street on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 3:00 PM. Friends may visit after 1:00 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers please donate to Tulane Cancer Center or your favorite charity.
