Beatrice Mary Carbon, born January 17, 1922, was called to her final resting place on January 12, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Sidonia Jacobs. Wife of the late Frank Henry Carbon, Sr. Mother of Frank H. Carbon, Jr. (Leslie). Grandmother of Stephanie de la Houssaye (Lee), Courtney Garrett (Philip), and Nicole Carbon. Great grandmother of Max, Jack, Oliver, Ellie, Charlie, Georgie, Vivienne, and Wells. Sister of the late Arthemine Jacobs, Hermine Barone and Dorothy Jacobs. Bezy, as she was called by family and friends, is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She was especially close to her sister Hermine’s sons, Thomas Barone (Margaret) and Ronald Barone (Janice Roth) whom she lived with for many years after hurricane Katrina. Bezy enjoyed cooking and playing cards but most of all she enjoyed being with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM, in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel of JACOB SCHOEN & SON, on Friday, January 19, 2017. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM and continue until Mass time. Condolences may be expressed at www.schoenfh.com
